Mountain Biking

Ryan has been mountain biking for years, but the rest of us just started in 2022. Trying to find information on which trails are appropriate for beginners ranging from 7 to 41 years old is a challenge. YouTubers like to focus on on the features (jumps, drops, things that look like certain death) but rarely focus on how fun a green trail is or the availability of picnic tables and bathrooms. Tune in here for info on our favorite trails and reviews new ones as we adventure.

  • Lebanon Hills

    Lebanon Hills

Lebanon Hills is one of the most popular trails in the metro area and a top pick for beginner riders. But the short green loop gets repetitive if you are looking for a longer ride, and the blue loop is a bit more technical than other blue trails.

  • Kinnickinnic State Park

    Kinnickinnic State Park

Kinni is my absolute favorite trail to ride. The green loop is accessible to beginners, but the lack of amenities, entrance fee, and length of loop keep it from being a top recommendation for first time riders.

  • Carver Lake Park

    Carver Lake Park

One of our favorite trails, very beginner friendly, located in Woodbury, MN
